We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Legacy Marching Invitational, taking place on September 28th, 2024, at the esteemed Everett Field @ Hornet Stadium. This event offers an exciting opportunity for marching bands from across the region to showcase their talent in a supportive and competitive environment.
In alignment with the format of other early-season contests, bands will not be required to present a complete show. Instead, adjudication will focus on the quality and execution of what is performed, rather than the amount of show material on the field. This allows bands the flexibility to participate fully, regardless of the current stage of their show development.
The invitational will feature a comprehensive set of awards, including ratings for all participating bands, classification awards, caption awards, and overall awards. Our panel of judges is composed of experienced professionals from both regional and national levels, ensuring fair and insightful evaluations.
Our primary goal is to provide a positive and enriching experience for both students and directors, fostering growth and camaraderie within the Central Arkansas marching band community.
Contest Registration Details:
Registration Fee: $300.00
Limited Availability: Registration is limited to the first 25 bands that complete payment.
Competition Format: The event will use a preliminary/final format. The top 10 bands from the preliminary round will advance to the finals, where they will compete for top honors.
Judging Specifics: Color Guard and Percussion sections will be judged during the preliminary round only.
Please note that registration will close as soon as the limit of 25 bands is reached. We encourage interested bands to secure their spot promptly.
