The Color Guard, also affectionately referred to as the guard, convenes after school consistently throughout the academic year. This physical activity is available to students in grades 10 through 12, encompassing elements of dance, theater, and the distinctive artistry of guard performances. Spanning the duration of the year, this course is performance-oriented, featuring color guard activities during the fall and winter guard engagements in the spring.

Auditions are scheduled annually in April to select participants. Fall showcases are slated for football games, marching contests, and parades attended by the BHS marching band. Spring performances are slated within a competitive winter guard circuit selected by the staff. Apart from the class curriculum, mandatory after-school rehearsals and weekend performance commitments will be part of the program's requirements.
